New Moon Club at Big Sky
Fractional Overview
The Concept - What is a Fractional Residence Club?

How does a private residence club membership compare to other vacation clubs and options such as timesharing, whole ownership or luxury rental? The New Moon Club at Big Sky was carefully developed to be more affordable than other luxury vacation travel options (yet offering equal or superior benefits), while avoiding their shortcomings. "Whole ownership" of a second home is the most expensive and least flexible option and severely limits a family's travel destination choices. The burdens and costs associated with second-home ownership include mortgage payments, taxes, insurance, maintenance and full responsibility for a property that will be used for only 30 days per year on average.

Timeshare and fractional ownership are ways of purchasing access to a fixed, single destination property for a week or several weeks of the year. In order to maximize developer profit, timeshare properties sell nearly all 52 weeks. Fractional ownership properties often have an owner-to-property ratio of 12 to 1, while timeshares are generally close to 50 to 1. Timeshares significantly restrict availability and convenience.

On the other hand, membership in The New Moon Club at Big Sky private residence club:
  • Provides residences that are typically more spacious and private than timeshare properties, without sacrificing the resort, concierge and housekeeping services offered by high-end fractional ownership (e.g., Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons Club). Each residence is richly furnished and maintained to high standards of luxury.

  • Offers a much more cost-effective structure and is highly flexible regarding travel times. The New Moon Club at Big Sky ensures that every club residence is stylishly decorated and thoroughly maintained, while offering personalized, high-end Ultimate Concierge Service.

  • Allows our members to have virtually unlimited access to an entire portfolio of luxury private residences. This is done through an exclusive exchange club, Interval International.

  • Allows our members to include all or a portion of their weeks in a rental pool if they are unable to use during a certain time or season.

  • Provides deeded title to a unit and allows our members to recognize asset appreciation similar to full ownership properties in the Big Sky area at a much lower investment level.
